Tutorial on Seismic Reflection CDP Data Processing
in the RadExPro Plus software

All standard stages of basic CDP processing are covered, from geometry definition to stacking, that is the so-called minimal processing sequence. Creating of a new RadExPro Plus processing project, data load and assigning geometry, data display and interactive analysis, sorting, preprocessing (amplitude recovery, spectral widening, bandpass filtering, trace equalization, muting), interactive velocity analysis, NMO-correction, stacking and display of the resulting CMP stack are discussed.

The Tutorial covers all standard stages of basic VSP processing, from data input to building a velocity model, tying VSP data to seismic survey data and printing out the results. Creation of a new RadExPro Plus processing project, data load, assigning geometry, picking of first arrivals of the P- and S-waves, component orientation, estimation of the deconvolution parameters, reflected wave field separation, building of velocity model, corridor stack trace, VSP migration and VSP-CMP transformation, tying of VSP data to seismics are discussed.
